Preparation works continue for the traffic diversion works at Napier. The diversion works are taking a significant amount of time to prepare due to the complexity in the geological and utility network at the site. The curbs of the new road are now being constructed, along with the demolishment of the center median. The diversion is expected to be implemented by the end of this month.
Herrenknecht has completed assembly of the STP back in Q2. Excavation of the launch shaft is now halfway completed we can expect tunnelling to commence around year end. The gantry crane was assembled at the end of May and the delivery of the TBM should take place by Q3.
